About Us:

I’m a self-confessed boat nut, having been on the water non-stop since the age of five. Boating has always been a family affair, from early days cruising with my father to owning a range of boats over the years — from a classic Fairey Huntsman to a modern Sunseeker.

My wife Sandra and I, along with our two dogs, Millie and Jessie, spent seven incredible years living aboard our Carver Voyager on the French Riviera. During that time, we provided guardianage and maintenance services to clients and worked as boat brokers, helping others enjoy the boating lifestyle as much as we do.

Now back in the UK and based on the South Coast, and  with many years of hands-on experience in the marine industry, I provide trusted advice, personal support, and up-to-date insights to help you navigate every aspect of boat ownership and operation.

My background includes time as a marine engineer and commercially endorsed skipper, as well as running my own boat maintenance company in Poole, where I kept charter boats in top condition and coding compliance. I’ve also undertaken numerous full refurbishments, restoring vessels to a high specification for both clients and personal projects.

I was born and raised in Dorset on the South Coast, and I’ve always loved being close to the sea and all the activities it offers. My background includes working as a Credit Controller and Administration Manager within the hospitality sector, as well as serving with the Coastguard.

Since meeting my husband, I’ve developed a real passion for boating. Together, we’ve run several businesses, including a boat charter company where Daryl was skipper and I was crew. We also refurbished boats to a high specification for both clients and ourselves, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the process of buying and selling vessels. I hold Powerboat Level 3, Competent Crew, VHF, and First Aid certificates.

After spending seven wonderful years living on the French Riviera with our two dogs, where we worked in guardianage (property and boat care) and boat brokerage, we have now returned to the UK. It’s a joy to be close to family again and to be back living on the beautiful South Coast.
